The Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax incentive program is designed to encourage scientific advancement. Developing a strategy to manage and defend claims requires an understanding of the SR&ED program and Canada’s Revenue Agency’s (CRA) assessment of SR&ED claims. Our firm currently has 25 matters in the Tax Court of Canada and several matters in Federal court. In 2022, our Principal changed the scope of SR&ED through the trial Airzone One Ltd. v. Her Majesty The Queen.

Our firm has experience in all aspects of Class Action matters including identification of Class Members, Certification, Discovery and Resolution. Among other cases, we are representing in a $2.4B Class Action against the Federal Government of Canada and its various agencies.
